At Sphere Holistics, I combine ancient tried-and-tested Shamanic techniques and Reiki treatments with modern psychotherapeutic tools to support and guide you. In each session, we’ll select from a variety of healing therapies, depending on your individual symptoms.

Crystal Therapy
I often use crystals during energy work to help enhance the flow of energy through the body.

Sound Therapy
Sound therapy, (drumming, rattling) is a powerful tool to help us connect with emotions that have a powerful hold on us, and helps us to release them. We all have experienced the power of music to uplift or relax us.

Nutrition
The food we eat can have a significant impact on our physical health and emotional wellbeing. This is an area we can explore in more depth if needed.

Creative Visualisation
Creative visualisation is a form of meditation that gives the mind something fun and creative to imagine. This can help provide you with insights into your issues and assist in problem solving.

Mindfulness
Practicing mindfulness helps you focus on the here and now, using deep breathing techniques such as ‘belly breathing’ to naturally lower your heart rate and reduce anxiety. Practicing mindfulness just to notice what your body is saying can give your mind a break, which in turn allows the body to rest and rejuvenate.
Meditation, mindfulness and creative visualisation are all techniques that you can learn with me and then put into practice yourself at home on a regular basis.

Meditation
We are all aware of the benefits of meditation both in terms of stress relief and for health benefits, such as reducing high blood pressure and providing relief from anxiety.

Counselling and Psychotherapy
Counselling and psychotherapy are both helpful in treating emotional problems and some mental health conditions. Talking on a one-to-one basis with a qualified experienced therapist, in a safe, confidential environment, will allow you to look deeper into your concerns and worries.

Counselling tends to be a short-term solution to help you address any present day concerns or issues you may have that are affecting your wellbeing, providing guidance and support that will help you through difficult times in your life.

Psychotherapy is a longer-term solution for recurring problems or issues and involves a commitment to attend regular weekly appointments over several months/longer period of time.

Psychotherapy explores issues from the past that may be contributing to your present day problems and will help you addresses the root causes so that lasting change and personal growth may occur. I deliver counselling and psychotherapy sessions through my Hull-based private practice – Temenos Psychotherapy and Counselling.
